The Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports and the Supervisory Authority on Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) have organized the second edition of the Best Insurance Video Contest, open to high school students in the economics discipline.
This competition aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance of insurance through the creation of educational and creative content. It is part of the 2022-2026 roadmap, which includes among its objectives the personal development and civic engagement of students. This initiative is also part of a gradual awareness-raising effort being rolled out on a national scale.
Following a first edition held in the regions of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, Drâa-Tafilalet, Béni Mellal-Khénifra, and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, the second edition was expanded to include the regions of Oriental, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Guelmim-Oued Noun, and Casablanca-Settat.
The awards ceremony, held on April 10, 2026, in Rabat, honored twelve winners from the Academies of Education and Training in these regions.
The participants were invited to express, through their audiovisual productions, their perception of the role of insurance in everyday life. The videos highlighted the importance of protection mechanisms against unforeseen events, as well as their contribution to the safety of people and property.
The winning projects were selected based on criteria of originality, relevance, and production quality. The winners received trophies and awards in recognition of their commitment.
The jury, responsible for evaluating the productions, was composed of representatives from the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, ACAPS, as well as representatives from the four Regional Academies of Education and Training.
Through this initiative, the Ministry and ACAPS reaffirm their commitment to strengthening financial education and disseminating key insurance concepts among young people, thereby contributing to the development of citizens who are better informed and more aware of the challenges related to financial protection.
