Bilateral Cooperation between ACAPS and NAIC (USA) in the field of Insurance Supervision : Official Visit of a High-Level Delegation

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) is hosting a high-level delegation from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).

This visit is part of the ongoing strategic partnership between the two institutions in the field of insurance supervision. It will include several key highlights: working meetings, exchanges of expertise, and the identification of new opportunities of collaboration.

The agenda also includes meetings with major stakeholders in the national financial ecosystem, reflecting a shared ambition to deepen cooperation on topics such as market regulation and policyholder protection.

This visit marks a new milestone in the dynamic cooperation between the two institutions. It consolidates a long-standing bilateral dialogue, notably through the signing of a memorandum of understanding between ACAPS and the NAIC in January 2019 in Key Largo, covering technical cooperation and the exchange of expertise.

Through this initiative, both institutions reaffirm their joint commitment to fostering a modern, inclusive, and resilient supervisory framework, in support of a constantly evolving insurance sector.
