ACAPS takes part in the "Rendez-vous de Casablanca de l'Assurance"

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) participates in the eleventh edition of the ’Rendez-vous de Casablanca de l'Assurance,‘ which is held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on 16th and 17th April 2025, on the theme "New technologies and artificial intelligence : what opportunities for insurance ?"

In a speech delivered on behalf of Mr. Abderrahim Chaffai, Chairman of the Authority, by the Secretary General of ACAPS, Mr. Othman Khalil El Alamy, at the opening of this event organized on the initiative of the Insurance Federation of Morocco (FMA), emphasis was placed on the major changes brought about by artificial intelligence in the insurance industry and on the need to adapt traditional models to this technological revolution.

The focus was also placed on ACAPS' vision, as a regulator, to actively support the digital transformation of the sector through the ongoing adaptation of regulations, the promotion of innovation, and the implementation of appropriate supervisory systems, while ensuring compliance with the principles of ethics, transparency, and data protection.
