As part of its protection mission, The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare, implements a solution for managing and processing the claims of insured persons, members and affiliates. This platform allows the citizen:

  • To file a claim through a detailed form that promotes fast processing;
  • Receive acknowledgments of receipt and e-mail notifications to avoid travel expenses and possible delays;
  • Access a claim number to follow the status of the file;
  • To communicate, if necessary, via the platform, the additional information and the necessary supporting documents.

 

The platform thus enables the dematerialization of the claims management process to promote a policy of proximity and to best serve the insured.

To this end, ACAPS and the insurance companies have agreed to abandon the exchanges in writing in order to privilege the use of this platform. In addition, and in order to promote a rapid resolution of claims, ACAPS and insurers have agreed, by mutual agreement, to reduce response times in different cases taking into account the nature and complexity of the claim.

The claims management platform of ACAPS is based on the shared application of claims management developed by the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy as part of the National Strategy for Information Technologies and Digital Economy.
