The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare has obtained ISO 9001/2015 certification for its quality management system, covering the scope of activities relating to the lifecycle of insurance product distributor agreements or authorizations.

The certification, issued by the international organization CERTI-TRUST, covers the processes for examining, issuing, modifying, and withdrawing agreements or authorizations for insurance intermediaries (agents and brokers), direct management offices, banking establishments, finance companies, microcredit associations, and payment institutions.

It should be emphasized in this respect that this approach is in line with ACAPS' strategic orientations aimed at strengthening the performance of its internal procedures, in particular those linked to approvals and authorizations, ensuring traceability, controlling processing times, and improving the quality of service provided to the operators concerned.

Through this system, the Authority aims to enhance operational excellence, satisfaction, and guidance for the operators concerned while providing guarantees in terms of transparency, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and best management practices.

About ISO 9001/2015
ISO 9001/2015 defines the requirements of a quality management system based on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The 2015 version features the introduction of a risk-based approach, greater leadership involvement, and greater document flexibility. It also emphasizes analysis of the organization's context and easier integration with other standards thanks to a harmonized structure. These developments make the standard more strategic, adaptable, and performance-driven.
